Gvantsa Salukvadze

Gvantsa Salukvadze is a social scientist. She serves as a Scientific Staff at Tbilisi State University and an Affiliated Researcher at the University of Zurich.

Her research interests focus on socio-economic transformation in mountain and rural settlements against the backdrop of global change, as well as participatory urban planning practices. She also leads the Master's programme "Computational Social Sciences for Development (CSS4D)."

Throughout her professional career, Gvantsa has collaborated with universities, development organizations, donors, and NGOs on EU-funded initiatives. She has extensive experience within Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ frameworks, where she leads multi-partner consortia from the conceptualization of project ideas through to their full implementation. She has published more than 15 scientific articles and has been recognized with the Forbes 30 Under 30 award and the Dimitri Uznadze Prize for outstanding achievements in the social sciences.
