Computational Social Science for Development (CSS4D)

CSS4D (Computational Social Science for Development) is Georgia's first international interdisciplinary master's program in Computational Social Sciences, jointly developed by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Black Sea International University (IBSU), in partnership with Linköping University (Sweden). Financially supported by the World Bank and endorsed by the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) under Georgia's Ministry of Education and Science, the program equips students with data analysis skills, evidence-based decision-making competencies, and digital tools to address contemporary socio-economic challenges from both local and international perspectives. Graduates are prepared for careers across academia, the technology sector, government, international organizations, NGOs, and strategic consulting.
The project is funded by the World Bank and endorsed by the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
